A special multi-chamber technology, Thermlock® works together with high performance 28mm double glazing to provide extremely high thermal performance. This glazing allows space to fit acoustic dampening glass if required, offering much better insulation than traditional 24mm polyamide systems, and also featuring a unique co-extruded perimeter seal.
A number of design specifications make the roof lantern we offer the strongest UK aluminium lantern roof available.* These include anti-tamper screws, enclosed anti-tamper glazing, security tape, a patent pending glass lock, and a unique high security ridge end. A laminate glass upgrade is also available for customers requiring extra security or peace of mind. *Mainstream residential roof lantern, not utilising bonded glass.
An optional upgrade, includes stainless steel security screws and an additional security clamping plate which is used to lock the laminated glass panels in place, which means they can’t be lifted out even if the rafter top caps are removed.
